Parkour is a physical discipline inspired by human movement, focusing on fast efficient forward motion over, under, and around obstacles in one's environment. Such movement may come in the form of running, jumping, climbing, and other more complex techniques. The goal of parkour is to adapt one's movement to any given obstacle. The Website Parkour.NET was closed this past weeked after a request by the Belles to remove certain information. The site was once endorsed by David Belle and has always been a good resource and a pillar of the online community. Please listen to last night's Parkour Radio show for more details.

UGA Accepts Student Parkour Organization

The hard work of traceurs in Athens, Georgia has paid off, and we've put together a student organization that is officially recognized by the University of Georgia. We feel it is important to begin the organization with a focus on beginner traceurs at the University of Georgia and in the Athens, Georgia area first, and then widen the scope of the organization as the traceurs here gain more experience and equip themselves with more knowledge.
Parkour Radio will no longer be on every Sunday. Instead we hope to bring you in-depth group discussions once a month. If you want to be part of the discussion or want to suggest a topic, you can use the contact form or the PK Radio Thread.
G4 takes the top entrants and sends them to Mt. Midoriama in Japan to compete on Ninja Warrior, a popular Japanese show and the most difficult obstacle course ever, broken into 4 stages. Only 2 men in 11 years have ever won. Last year, the two American Ninja finalists were Skynative and NoSole. Skynative got father than any of the Japanese competitors.
Hey anyone here from Boston? I'm going to be there Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and I'm trying to get some training in. I'd be willing to meet up at the Chinatown YMCA, it looks like a great spot :)
Just got back from vacation in Spain. Didn't have my sneaks with me but I still got a couple of moves in. Everyone go to the Rock of Gibraltar now. Best training place ever.
