G4 takes the top entrants and sends them to Mt. Midoriama in Japan to compete on Ninja Warrior, a popular Japanese show and the most difficult obstacle course ever, broken into 4 stages. Only 2 men in 11 years have ever won. Last year, the two American Ninja finalists were Skynative and NoSole. Skynative got father than any of the Japanese competitors.
bullet BurntBlueJay on Thursday 03 July 2008 - 20:22:46

Hey anyone here from Boston? I'm going to be there Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and I'm trying to get some training in. I'd be willing to meet up at the Chinatown YMCA, it looks like a great spot :)
bullet Ryth on Sunday 29 June 2008 - 23:29:24
Just got back from vacation in Spain. Didn't have my sneaks with me but I still got a couple of moves in. Everyone go to the Rock of Gibraltar now. Best training place ever.

bullet TRun18 on Thursday 26 June 2008 - 04:54:40
Keep training, as you progress and get better your "vision" should improve.
bullet BurntBlueJay on Wednesday 25 June 2008 - 23:11:59
its hard for me to see parkour possibility in an are a lot of times, so its hard to find an area to train... whether or not i can aquire that view or not, im not sure... what do you all think?
bullet BurntBlueJay on Wednesday 25 June 2008 - 23:10:48
i agree to some extent, but i think you have to see the world as a tracer to be able to train in such an area... i havent aquired that view of the world quite yet.
bullet Donozor on Wednesday 25 June 2008 - 17:17:18
BBJ: Parkour world is bigger than you a playground. Get over the location crap. Or maybe chance your wording to 'train parkour' and even then.... heck, even a street will do for basic training...
bullet Strake on Wednesday 25 June 2008 - 14:20:13
BBJ: The Toronto facility is still under construction, but should be up and running in a few weeks.
bullet BurntBlueJay on Wednesday 25 June 2008 - 01:33:43
sup matcauthon? dude, i gotta say, im kinda jealous... the park near my house is just a TINY little thing, and its all mulch... its crap, but its pretty much the only place i can do parkour nearby. i was listening to the parkour radio (from a while back) and they have a parkour gym in toronto (i think it was toronto at least)... i'd love to go up there for a few weeks to preactice... where i live, parkour is COMPLETELY unkown... everyone that knows about it, heard it (directly, or indirectly) from me... :P
bullet matcauthon12 on Tuesday 24 June 2008 - 20:08:14
was good? The construction dudes finally finished installing a new playground by my house, and the floor of the playground is like the floor in a gym. It's great! XD
bullet maceo on Tuesday 24 June 2008 - 19:26:13
hey wats up guys
bullet BurntBlueJay on Monday 23 June 2008 - 22:28:13
Today me and my frend were free running in a kiddy park and nobody knew what we were doing... they were all looking at us like we had six heads i think it would be cool if we kinda put our name out there as more then just crazy people doing insane stunts
bullet Donozor on Sunday 22 June 2008 - 13:52:25
It's realy not to smart to go climbing public/private buildings without giving a notice to the owners or something =P;
But six is overdoing it, even one would've been.
bullet Will Keiser on Saturday 21 June 2008 - 11:07:00
Me and my friend were climbing the side of a parking garage when someone called security on us. SIX cops pulled up! At first they kinda chewed us out but when they realized we were actually doing something, not just screwing around, and we had explained parkour a little to them, they eased up but still made us leave.
bullet Ryth on Friday 20 June 2008 - 22:36:02
yeah I was doin Parkour over at the local middle school this week and one teacher came out while I was doing a running kong into a huge drop and she just stopped and looked at me funny and then left. Then another teacher came out and said it's cool if I do it, as long as no one is in the school when I do it, because it's a distraction.
bullet Animus on Thursday 19 June 2008 - 16:53:08
Hey, Donozor! Good to have a .Net-er with us! All are welcome. :)
bullet Donozor on Thursday 19 June 2008 - 15:31:49

bullet BurntBlueJay on Thursday 19 June 2008 - 01:40:59
hey kaos! just wanted to say i LOVE the progression vids!
bullet BurntBlueJay on Thursday 19 June 2008 - 01:20:09
dude! serioiusly?! thats nuts... i never would have expected security to do something like that... thats insane... dang... i cant get over that... lol besides, whats the worst that can happen i suppose? they say you cant do that, and oh well, go somewhere else... hmm thanks!
bullet Saint.Albatross on Wednesday 18 June 2008 - 18:42:12
Yeah, today my group was stopped by some police when training, I explained to the guy what parkour was, gave a demonstration (wall climb, qm along the top, cat and drop) and he said it was cool and that we can keep doing it. Was awesome.
bullet matcauthon12 on Wednesday 18 June 2008 - 17:40:40
if you get stopped by security, etc. and they ask what you are doing, explain parkour to them. Usually, they're willing to listen and probably won't mind as long as you explain it's not dangerous. It also depends on what you were doing in front of them. I have a same problem, and when security is there show them some basic vaults and alot of conditioning. Don't show them (or do for that matter) anything dangerous or else they'll kick you out and probably should for that matter :P
